Static JSON, generated at build time from the same files the site renders. No key, no rate limit beyond the CDN, Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *. Licensed CC BY 4.0: use it anywhere, with attribution and a link.

/api/v1/matrix.jsonThe whole grid: robot ids, policy ids, and one object per non-unknown cell (state, highest tier, capabilities, measurements, evidence). Absent pairs are unknown.

Envelope

Every list endpoint returns { schema_version, license, attribution, dataset_version, generated, data }. Records follow the JSON Schemas in /schema. Cells add computed fields: tier (highest evidence tier), verified_on, age_days, stale, version_drift.

Stability

/api/v1/ is a contract: fields are only added, never renamed or removed, within v1. IDs are permanent; renames keep the old id in aliases.
